The Joint Morrisville to Sponsor the TABLE 5K

The second annual TABLE 5K, hosted by the Rho chapter of Alpha Phi Omega, will get some sponsorship help this year from Thge Joint Chiropractic of Morrisville.

Alpha Phi Omega (APO) is a gender inclusive service fraternity that has played an active role in the Chapel Hill and Carrboro community for more than 75 years, providing service in the community and fundraising for local charities. APO has partnered with TABLE of Carrboro to host this year's 5K with the aim to raise money for TABLE, bridge the gap between the UNC campus and Chapel Hill, and promote fitness within the community as a whole. TABLE is a Carrboro nonprofit that feeds more than 500 hungry children in the area.

The Joint Chiropractic Morrisville is excited to be a sponsor in this event. 

"This is a great opportunity for the community to show their support for TABLE," said Dr. Todd Wegerski, chiropractor at The Joint.

The race on February 11 is open to participants of all ages and fitness levels -- runners or walkers! Immediately after the race, there will be food and activities near the finish line for all participants. Registration and packet pick-up is 6:30-7:30 a.m.; the race begins at 7:30. It begins and ends on Cameron Avenue, between the Old Well and the Campus Y.

One-hundred percent of the proceeds from the race go directly to TABLE of Carrboro, NC.
