Dr. Amanda Terraciano, or Dr. Amanda which she likes her patients to call her, attended Kennesaw State University in Georgia, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science in 2020. She started her journey with The Joint as a Wellness Coordinator the week she began classes at Life University. The Joint has been privileged to work alongside Dr. Amanda during her journey to become a Doctor of Chiropractic graduating from Life University with her Doctorate in 2024.
When asked to describe the best thing about being in the Chiropractic field, Dr. Amanda shared, “It is a privilege and a joy to be witness to a patient’s journey of healing. From the moment the patient lays down, the chiropractor begins a silent conversation with their body. The body informs, and is specific and thorough on when, where and how to adjust segments of the spine. The body never lies and will always steer me as a doctor in the right direction for the correction.”
What and who most influenced you to become a Doctor of Chiropractic? “I was impacted personally when I began developing migraines at the age of fifteen. Since then, I have never looked back. The healing I received drove me to provide to others the same care and healing that I received. One of the most powerful mentors in my life, used the analogy of a car. You don’t wait until the car breaks down to have your oil changed. You take it in for maintenance. This short two sentence statement validated for me the philosophy of chiropractic. Over the four plus years I have worked with The Joint I have seen that many in our communities do not realize the benefits of frequent chiropractic care. I love the chance I am offered every day to educate and assist my patients to find a better quality of life with the Joint model. Dr. Jarry is the first Chiropractor (and I have been to many) to make an adjustment on my jaw. I’m 48, my wife Abbi is 47 and our son Hunter is 15. We all have unique needs for chiropractor care. Myself as a former collegiate and pro athlete, my wife Abbi who’s had fibromyalgia since 1999 and our son Hunter who’s dream is to become a professional soccer player and trains 6 days a week. Every treatment is designed specifically for each of our needs and after each adjustment our bodies are working better then when we came in. Improved Digestion, muscle & joint relief, reduced inflammation, better circulation are just a few of the benefits each adjustment provides. The joint at Windward goes beyond any chiropractic care we’ve experienced. Dr Jerry and Dr Phil talk to Hunter each adjustment, ask about his week of training and tailor his treatment to help him excel on the field. I asked them for a refund and they never contact me I was very disappointed for being charged for two extra session that I didn't ask for I was very disappointed it was $120 and never got refunded back yeah I was tricked by the old lady in the front desk I would never go back to that place again and Windward parkway that's correct

5 5 1I started going to The Joint in October of 2018 after throwing out my back on a Saturday morning doing something rather benign. I was already a believer in chiropractic care,but hadn't been for an adjustment for well over a year. I do know the importance of immediacy when an adjustment is needed. That morning, I had to run out to coach my daughter's soccer game and asked my wife to get me an appt with her chiropractor before my son's afternoon game. Running up and down the sideline is not easy when you have back pain. Her chiropractor was not in on that Saturday so she tried unsuccessfully to get me an appt with my old chiropractor. Due to the fact that it had been over a year since I had been there, they told her I would need a full work-up which they don't do on Saturdays. This is when I reached out to The Joint, who could see me as soon as I could get there. That's key benefit number 1. When you know you need an adjustment, time is of the essence. I remember I didn't initially like the idea of a membership, but since they require only a 2 month commitment, it was not a big deal. I figured I'd get a few adjustments over the course of 2 months and then be on my way. Well, a year later, I'm still going. Here's why: I now treat chiropractic care as part of my overall wellness regimen. Much better to get periodic adjustments on a regular basis than to wait until real back pain presents itself. Today, I was telling Dr Meyers what usually triggers my need for an adjustment (dumbell curls with heavy weights) and he adjusted me differently as a result. He demonstrated his complete understanding of strength and conditioning. Pure genius! He's wowed me before when he connected my ankle pain to something I would never have thought of and then adjusted me accordingly. The short of it is, I get regular adjustments and live a pain-free life thanks to The Joint.

A nurse from Woolfson Eye told me about The Joint and Dr. Jarry so finally I decided to check it out. Dr. Jarry got to the root of my problem. I had X rays done and finally found it was the psoas muscle and my lumber 5 is deteriorating. I started off 3 times a week, now 2 times a week. I cannot believe the difference already I am experiencing. I am standing taller, feeling better, more energy and my confidence has improved and I am getting out doing things again. Dr. Jarry is extremely knowledgeable, personable, gentle with the adjustment, and results oriented. If I am having a particular problem from a recent injury he will take the time to move the bone, work on the muscle, and educate me on how to avoid and protect against future injuries. Marian is a delight! She knows everyone by name and makes sure everyone is greeted and feels welcome. If the Joint were able to clone these two this would be the greatest success story!
