Dr. Brandon Oakley, DC, was born in Spain and grew up moving frequently due to his father’s military service. A true army brat. Despite his travels, he considers Clarksville, TN, his hometown, where he graduated from high school and later earned his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Austin Peay State University in 2019. He then pursued his chiropractic education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida, graduating with honors.
Returning to Clarksville to begin his chiropractic career is a full-circle moment for Dr. Oakley. He is honored to serve his community and provide care that makes a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Oakley enjoys spending time with his loyal Labrador Retriever, Vader. Whether they’re going for a walk, a run, or even running errands together, Vader is always by his side. Dr. Oakley is also passionate about fitness, meditation, and exploring new activities that keep life exciting and balanced.
What Dr. Oakley finds most rewarding about chiropractic care is its multifaceted approach. It begins with addressing immediate concerns, such as pain or mobility restrictions, and progresses to enhancing overall function and resolving underlying issues. He believes chiropractic care is versatile and beneficial for people of all ages and backgrounds, making it an essential component of whole-person wellness.
I was born and raised in a small town called Savannah, TN. Once I graduated high school in 2017, I never looked back. I spent time living in Pulaski, TN, Colorado Springs, CO, Ballwin, MO, Columbia, TN, and now I have landed in Clarksville. During this stretch, I earned my undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science from the University of Tennessee Southern (formerly Martin Methodist College). After undergrad, I attended Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri where I graduated with my Doctor of Chiropractic and Master of Science in Sports Science and Rehabilitation degrees.
I grew my passion for chiropractic through growing up as a high level athlete. I have been a competitive shotgun shooter since I was 10 years old, so taking care of my spine and shoulders have always been a top priority. I had the honor of being a member of Team USA for several years. It was awesome being able to travel the world representing my country and doing what I loved, but it definitely took a toll on my joints. I received care from top notch chiropractors at home and from the USOTC sports med team. Their attention to detail and professionalism made chiropractic the obvious choice for my future career.
I love being a chiropractor because it gives me the opportunity to build a team with my patients and help them achieve their wellness goals. Goal setting is a very integral part of my approach to care because it is a way to hold both myself and my patient accountable for their wellness journey.
Outside of the office, I can usually be found either hanging out with my Border Collie Shiloh or at the range. I love hiking, road trips, watching sports and spending time with family and friends. I am also rekindling my love for the gym. I am a huge Tennessee Volunteers fan, so if you hear me humming rocky top, it's probably game day.
I am very excited to serve and be a part of the Clarksville community!
Dr. Lance Wittwer came to the Clarksville clinic location of The Joint Chiropractic in 2022, enjoying the role of local healthcare provider and doing the work he finds so fulfilling.
For Dr. Wittwer, the best aspects of serving his patients include “getting people better naturally, without the use of drugs and surgery, and establishing friendships.”
Originally from Indiana, where his father had a chiropractic practice, Dr. Wittwer previously worked in Jasper, Ind., Owensboro, Ky., Corpus Christi, Texas, and Knoxville, Tenn.
His wife, Carla, who loves to be with family and spend time outdoors, is a foster mom, and she is very good at fixing things. Their daughter, Lexi, loves music and dancing, playing basketball, and being outdoors. The family has a dachshund named Buster who loves to go for walks and play ball.
Dr. Wittwer went to Vincennes University and Scott College of Business in Indiana where he participated in peer review and specialized in medical compliance. He earned a Doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.
He was inspired to become a chiropractor from an early age. “I would watch my dad get people better naturally and wanted to do the same thing,” he says.
As a chiropractor at The Joint, Dr. Wittwer enjoys the relationships he’s established with residents of Clarksville.
In Case You Didn’t Know
He always has protein shakes available.
If he could design the perfect dinner party including four famous guests, Dr. Wittwer would invite:
● Jesus Christ - “I have many questions about life.”
● BJ Palmer - “To pick his brain on all things chiropractic.”
● Bill Phillips - “He started EAS supplements. I’d spend time talking and training with him.”
● Warren Buffet - “To talk about investing.”
One of the most meaningful experiences of Dr. Wittwer’s life was taking part in the Christian program Walk to Emmaus. “It showed how the world can be a better place when we help serve other people, and their love for us when we are served.”
Body for Life by Bill Phillips is one of Dr. Wittwer’s favorite books. “It’s a no-nonsense approach to fitness.”
Dr. Rowen S. Pfeifer became part of The Joint Chiropractic’s team of local healthcare providers in 2019, and in 2021 became a franchise owner to serve residents in Belleview and Jackson.
“The best thing about being a chiropractor is helping patients regain their health and decrease their pain,” he says. “I love the virtually constant positive feedback we receive from patients on a daily basis. The response they give with the adjustment of almost every area is extremely rewarding.”
Dr. Rowen, as his patients call him, has practiced in the greater Nashville area since 1987. He grew up in Wisconsin loving sports and having the freedom to explore. He and his wife of more than four decades have two adult children and a bijon who loves to chase squirrels and deer in the yard. He likes to relax through music, which includes playing guitar, drums, and singing classic rock songs. In addition to working around the yard, he enjoys water skiing, snow skiing, and springboard and cliff diving.
Dr. Rowen graduated cum laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he received his doctorate, after attending two years of pre-med at Middle Tennessee State. “I learned about chiropractic while searching for the principles of health and healing,” he says. “I ended up with an issue that required chiropractic care, the issue resolved, and a few years later I knew I wanted to be a chiropractor.”
One of Dr. Rowen’s most memorable successes as a chiropractor took place when he was caring for a family who had a son who was a 12-year-old bed-wetter. “They had tried many options, without success,” he says. “After a short time of receiving adjustments, the bed-wetting stopped. He stayed under maintenance care for years. At age 18, he was a passenger in a van that flipped over resulting in trauma to the low back and a return of the bed wetting. We saw him more frequently for a short time and again resolved the issue.”
Hello, my name is Dr Christina Judon. I was a military kid who grew up in Clarksville, TN.
I love fitness! I enjoy running, hiking, biking and Crossfit. I coached Crossfit while in chiropractic school. In high school and in college, I competed in cross country and track. At Tennessee Tech, the 800 was my main event. To this day, I still have a special place in my heart for track. Being on a team, taught me how important it is not only to set goals and foster my own dreams but also to encourage and push others to do the same as well.
After college, I moved to Charlotte and worked as an Engineer and realized I wanted to do something that allowed me to help others on a more personal level. I started with small steps like getting my certification in personal training though Athletics & Fitness Association of America (AFAA) and a postural and motion certification with Egoscue Posture Therapy. I loved the small steps I had taken but decided it was time for a big leap into the service and healthcare industry so I went back to school full time at Sherman College in Spartanburg, SC and became a Doctor of Chiropractic.
I love my career! What I love most is helping others and seeing them move to a level of health and wellness beyond their expectations and dreams by simply taking a proactive approach to their health.
Dr. Luke Roller was born and raised in Sidney, Ohio. He attended the University of Cincinnati for his undergraduate education and then attended Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California for his chiropractic degree. During his time in school, he focused on techniques that addressed concerns from every end region of the spine through specific adjustments to the upper neck.
After receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Dr. Luke moved to nearby San Francisco for one year to work in a clinic where he further learned of the uniqueness of the upper neck and how to better care for patients utilizing an upper cervical procedure. Following his time in San Francisco, Dr. Luke decided to move to the Clarksville area to be closer to his family. Dr. Luke loves to meet and learn from other health practitioners in the area in order to better help patients as they make their specific journey toward health and wellness.
In his spare time, you can find him hiking and exploring coffee shops in the Clarksville area.
