Meet The Doctors
Dr. Justin was born and raised in the Bay Area. He graduated from St. Mary’s College in 2017 with a B.S. in Biology. After his undergrad, he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic West. He previously practiced in San Jose, Hayward, and Mountain View prior to joining The Joint Daly City for its opening.
Dr. Justin became a chiropractor after shadowing his uncle in college. He saw the benefits patients would receive from regular chiropractic care. He enjoys being a chiropractor because he can help patients feel better and achieve physical goals.
In his spare time, Dr. Justin likes to snowboard, fish, and try out new restaurants.
Dr. Sherman Zhu grew up in San Francisco. He graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a degree in Psychology, and then went on to attend Life Chiropractic College West. Before joining The Joint Daly City, Dr. Sherman practiced in San Bruno and Salinas.
Dr. Sherman uses chiropractic care personally to support his weight lifting hobby. He had low back pain at a young age from lifting with improper technique. He wasn’t even able to bend down to put on his socks. Chiropractic care helped him get rid of the issue and build a stronger foundation for weight-lifting and for life. Now, as a skilled chiropractor himself, he loves helping other people get back on their feet and back to doing the things they love. He is eager to help every person that walks into the clinic.
In his spare time, you can find Dr. Sherman in the gym. Ask him how much he’s been lifting lately! Dr. Sherman also loves walking or having a picnic at Golden Gate Park. He’s also recently picked up pickle ball.
Dr. Minaei attended the University of Massachusetts for Biology, knowing he ultimately wanted to work in healthcare. As he approached graduation and researched various careers, he started speaking with local chiropractors. He could see the difference they made in the lives of their patients, and decided to pursue a career in chiropractic, later graduating from Life Chiropractic College West.
He worked as a chiropractor in Santa Clara and Pinole before joining The Joint Chiropractic Daly City for its opening. He loves seeing his patients’ quality of life improve through chiropractic care!
In his spare time, Dr. Minaei enjoys hiking and bike-riding, along with exploring San Francisco and the peninsula.
Dr. Amy Chin was born and raised in Oakland and is a graduate of Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward. She practiced in Hayward, Fremont, and San Francisco before joining The Joint Chiropractic Daly City shortly after its opening.
r. Chin’s favorite part of being a chiropractor is the "scavenger hunt" of identifying spinal issues and adjusting fixations unique to each patient. She enjoys the challenge of helping patients' bodies learn to move better, one adjustment at a time. She has a background in powerlifting, which led her to an interest in kinesiology and, ultimately, chiropractic care.
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Amy enjoys rock climbing (despite her fear of heights) and visiting local breweries.
