Meet The Doctors

Dr. Stephen Patti, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Fort Mill

Dr. Steve was born and raised in Long Island, NY. Growing up, he competed in several sports, including lacrosse and football. As a competitive athlete in contact sports, he suffered from recurring shoulder dislocations that later caused chronic pain and discomfort throughout his mid back.

Dr. Steve received a lacrosse scholarship to play at Lenoir-Rhyne University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. Throughout his studies, Dr. Steve spent time working with a chiropractor that diagnosed him with a thoracic spine scoliosis. He began receiving chiropractic care and noticed that the adjustments not only helped reduce and eliminate his pain, but also improved his overall function and athletic performance. This experience drove Dr. Steve to want to give back to athletes like himself.

Dr. Steve attended Life University in Marietta, GA, where he completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. During his time in the program, Dr. Steve became interested in functional neurology and functional nutrition, as he discovered that they are great additional tools for helping people improve their health.

His mission as a chiropractor is to assist people in overcoming obstacles that limit them from achieving their health goals, as well as support athletes through injury prevention and recovery.

Dr. Steve is also a lacrosse coach with Team 91 Charlotte and continues to help athletes of all ages optimize their health and athletic performance.

Dr. Traci Giles is originally from Pennsylvania and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Iowa where she did additional education in Gonstead Chiropractic and prenatal care. She is certified in Webster Technique for pregnancy. After graduation she moved to Charlotte where she has practiced for over 18 years.

Dr. William Overstreet, D.C is a Chiropractor at Fort Mill

When Dr. Bill Overstreet was a young man, he took a hit to his left upper leg playing football. His mom took him to a Orthopedic Surgeon who eventually became the Doctor for Marshall University Athletics in Huntington, W.Va.

After taking x-rays the Doctor said Bill will never walk again. He was to go home stay in bed for 10 days only to get up to go to the bathroom. During this time my aunt played the organ for the 700 Club and Pat Robertson prayed for me on TV. I returned to the Doctor gave him my crutches and I could walk. Moving forward I graduated from Ben Lippen High School in 1977 which is now located in Columbia, S.C. I went to Liberty University on a basketball scholarship. During my first semester my Mom went to a Chiropractor who was our next door neighbor in Barboursville, W. Va. On Thanksgiving break I visited Dr. Richard Schramm. He told me “The Power That Made The Body Heals The Body”, I said sign me up. I graduated from Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic on December 19, 1981. I practiced Chiropractic in Kokomo, IN for approx. 40 years. I am grateful to the owners of “The Joint” for hiring me, so I can continue to help people.
