If you’re planning to come to this location as a new patient or to use their first time client special, I wouldn’t. I arrived an hour and a a half before closing time and they denied me because I wasn’t a “regular” as the receptionist called it. Mind you, they proudly display on their website that they accept walk in’s at all times. I even called ahead of time to make sure they took walk ins but nobody answered my call. The customer service as well as their lack of policy detail on their website was extremely disappointing.

I have been a patient off and on for about Two years. Not all of my experiences have been bad, but this last Wednesday, was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I usually go to the location in Pickerington, Ohio, and that is where this terrible experience started on the Saturday before. I walked in to find a new doctor that I have never seen before, and the first thing he said was that he found a note in my file that he was concerned about. (As far as I remember it is from about a year ago when I was experiencing some very bad lower back pain) I asked the doctor whom the doctor was that put the note in my records and the date. He told me that there was no date, time or doctors name. I thought that this was extremely troubling knowing that any doctor could see this and surmise that this problem still exist which does not. He went on to adjust me and that was another problem as he went through the motions and was not effectively adjusting me due to his very cautions technique at manipulation that was far from any kind of adjustment that I have ever received. (Been going to a Chiropractor for over 30 years) I had to tell him about half way through the session that he was not effective and that I wanted to have my visit put back on my account which I find out they still charged me for. I also went back on Monday at that location to find another new doctor, that had a similar cautious technique, and for those of you that are familiar with chiropractic care, he ended up using "the clicker" to finish the adjustments and told me in a sarcastic way "that he was sure that with what he saw that I had never screeched a day in my life." I did not let that bother me as people go through all kind of stress in their life and the tightening of muscles can be a sign of stress. Although saying this to me in that way was very condescending. On to the Wednesday experience. From time to time a visit the Grandview office and was looking forward to seeing Dr. John. only to find out he started his own practice from the same doctor that tried to treat me on Saturday at the Pickerington location. I didn't realize this at first since he had a mask on, but when he took it off, he asked me if I still wanted him to adjust me. My response was NO, and went out to the receptionist Tarra (Who was very professional and kind) and asked her to reinstate my visit so that I could go to another location. As she was new, she said that she didn't know how to but assured me that she would find out and take care of it. My next stop on that Wednesday was the office on Bethel Road. When I was walking in a lady stated to me as she walked out “that the doctor was on a roll". I assumed she meant it in a good way. When I walked up to the counter, I told the lady that I had just come from the Grandview office and that they put my visit back on my account so I could get adjusted at this office. She told me that “my credit card was no good!” That’s when the doctor came out to the lobby. (My credit card is good, that’s how they bill me every month.) I went on to try and explain to her what was going on, although it was very hard due to the fact that I was rudely interrupted on at least three occasions in our conversation, I even pointed it out to her that she would not let me finish my sentence, (as I looked over to the doctor nodding in agreement with me) that if she would just let me finish answering her questions, she would get the information that she was asking. I just decided to leave the office as the doctor went in the back and left me alone with this unprofessional woman. I went out to my car and called the Grandview office and talked to Tarra about the experience that I had at the Bethel Rd office. Still haven’t heard anything from anybody at this company reaching out to me to try and rectify or apologize, although Tarra did when I told her about the experience.

Wow, no class. I called on Tuesday report an injury that resulted from an adjustment at the 5th Avenue location. Lower back on the left is very sore and it isn’t a natural soreness. I was let out of my contact but not before I was charged $29 for the visit in which I was injured by the chiropractor. Classless money grab, even though I did offer to pay because I do have class. I will dissuade any friend from ever using this greedy company who pretends they care about your wellness.

By chance and a severe neck/back pain I found 5th ave joint Chiropractic. All new to me so I didn’t know what to expect but was at wits end w pain. Today was my first time coming to a chiropractor and it wont be my last time. I had pains in my neck and within about 15 minutes Dr. John had me feeling like a new person. Before stumbling in to The Joint, I was deep in a 6 month fibromyalgia and RSD flair up with no end in sight. I had ended up back on a cane and spent most of those six months barely alive. I hit a point where I became desperate and a friend recommend I find a new Chiropractor to supplement my cupping and massage sessions. One session and my body started to feel like mine again.
