WARNING! They will not see patients who have Medicare - even though I was paying cash! The company has some type of agreement with Medicare that their doctors will NOT TREAT anyone who qualifies for Medicare! I went through all the entry paperwork only to be taken back to a chiropractor who would not touch me - only told me “sorry - can’t help any Medicare patients!”

The contract says you have to give written notice to stop the contract. I gave written notice over a month ago and now they took another payment. I want to know what in the heck is going on . Dr. Gavin as well as Debroy are outstanding. I saw Gavin 1st time today. THANK YOU!! I walked out feeling great. I DO have some sort of bad hip condition that I fear could be something terrible but for now until I get an MRI or CT of the hip I continue to get my chiropractic care here.
I walk out feeling good but right hip is, I fear, damaged in some way I have yet to learn of. Doc appointments coming....
Thank you for being accommodating and also Paris seems to be on top of things when it comes to possibly figuring out what is going on.

I had an unsettling experience with the "first impression of the company" on 11/22/2022 by Kiersten and Sophia. Neither receptionist treated me with respect. They spoke and greeted each and every individual after me but I did not get a hello, who would you like to see, or any of the sort from either receptionist. The message board was not visible for me to view and when I asked about it, they each in unison pointed to the board which was behind another board. I told them whom I cared to see, and sat down. Kiersten continued to talk to a member which I think she knew personally, and Sophia kept doing what ever she was doing behind the desk. Kiersten however walked me back because of my body language I'm sure, and I shared with her how I felt about not being greeted nor spoken to or asked any thing regarding my visit and she said "Okay, well you can have a seat right over there". I in turn stated "And that's the demeanor I have gotten since I walked in the door. She walked back to the reception and I sat down. The reason this was so unsettling to me is because I pay my monthly fee just like every other member and I think I should be greeted and acknowledged like every other member. There were at least 3 other members that came thru the door after I did and neither were brushed off like I was. I love Dr. Parris as well as Dr. Dobroy. But I will change locations before I am treated different that the other members.

I went to the grant and swan location on Saturday the 10th of September, I told Dr. Parris that I injured my wrist at work, and I was taking Cortizone shots, and when the injury happens I pulled a muscle in my neck, she told me that she is uncomfortable seeing me although my injury was not in anywhere that she might be adjusting, I called the location on oracle and the doctor there said he is ok with seeing me, I drove almost 30 minutes to get there to find out from a very rude receptionist that dr. Parris have flagged my account, because I have a workmans some. I’ve never said that, I was seeing another chiropractor with no issues. I am paying for my injury not work. It’s amazing how they want to protect themselves from lawsuits, but care %0 about their patients.

I just tried to cancel my membership and was told that I have to pay for a new month which is $79 because I didn't cancel my membership on the same day that I purchased it a month ago. Although I expressed that I go to college in Tucson and no longer live there I still had to pay it or they were going to keep charging my account. I still have to pay for this membership even though I won't be able to use it, because it states that you can only redeem your left over visits within the month of cancelling it. Why should I have to pay for this even though I can't use it?! Treating customers like this is a great way to lose business. Never come here it's terrible and the staff will treat you horribly and just try to get you to purchases a membership because that is how they make their money.

This place is terrible. It felt like they didn't care about my well-being, they just wanted me to get a membership so they could get more money out of me, rather than helping me. I went there for back pain and they made it worse, so I stopped going and felt that I was in worse condition when I left The Joint. The entire process was very rushed. If you have an issue and are going there to get it fixed DONT they will make it 100 times worse.

Worst office management I have ever seen. Won't answer phone. I complained to corporate where " they say" they will contact you.That was weeks ago. Never heard from them. They have had 5 different front desk persons from Octiber 2020 til now. (I started in Oct (2020l. Maybe if they stopped hiring teenagers to do an adults job things would improve. I had a horrible experience trying to be seen. I’m very disappointed the way this office handles first time patients. The website states no appointments are required and there’s no cut off time listed for new patients. I drove a 35 minutes on Sunday, arrived at 3:40. I was turned away and told it was too late for me to be seen because I was a new patient and the appointment would take 30 minutes and they close at 5. The receptionist told me to return Monday. I told I work and I’m off on the weekends. She told me to come back between the hours of 10am-3pm since I was a new patient they were less busy during those hours. She didn’t specify if the hours were for the weekday or weekends. She gave me the intake paperwork and told me to come back between 10am-pm. I took time off from work and returned today on Tuesday arriving at 2:00pm after driving 30. I was again turned away. The receptionist told me that they couldn’t see me because they take lunch 2-2:45pm and my appointment required 30 minutes, granted they are open till 7! She proceeded to tell me that the receptionist working on Sunday was new and she gave me wrong information. I explained to her that it was my second time driving here, I took time off work she drove 30 minutes. Still they refused to check me in. Website states that an appointment is never needed and it only gives the hours of operation. It doesn’t say anywhere that I can’t be seen after 2:45pm. I can not believe that I was refused service twice despite the fact that both times I traveled a long distances and took time off of work. I can’t believe I was treated as though I was in the wrong. I wouldn’t have taken time off work and driven 30 minutes if I knew I was going to be denied services. My friend recommended this place and I’m very disappointed at how they run the office. I can’t speak for the other locations but I definitely won’t recommend this location to friends or family.

Horrible, horrible experience. just had the worse experience, and I am seriously shocked how I was treated. I drove to your location in Tucson on Grant and swan which is 40 minutes away from my house. This would be my first time being seen. I get there right at 6 and your location hours say it closes at 7pm. Your website states walk ins are welcomed. Nowhere on the website it says that new patients can’t be seen after 5:30pm. If that was the case I would have schedule an appt. Receptionist tells me new patients can’t be seen. I explain to her how far I drove and that it doesn’t say that on your website. Website states on multiple locations that an appointment is never needed. I ask if they can please see me and she says no. I leave wasn’t rude or anything but just felt like it was extremely wrong and called to ask for corporate number or someone I can escalate this to. The girl transfers me to someone else who proceeds to tell me she can’t give corporate number, and tells me I should have went between 10am and 7pm which I did, and then hangs up on me. I was never rude or irate. I call back and ask for the girl that hung up on me. She said it was an accident and ask for her name which she refuses to give me, and kept saying her manager will call me. I am in disbelief how I was treated and she was making it seem like I was being rude when I wasn’t. Not only was I refused service, I was treated beyond unprofessionally, and wasn’t provided any information. This is not how a company should treat future clients. Especially clients that are already in pain. I was recommended to your company by a friend and this is definitely not making me want to ever do business. There needs to be some sort of accountability here and procedure for employees like these.

I have been coming here a while now and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I have been able to find some of the best chiropractors in town while not breaking my budget. Huge shout out to Dr. Valerie, Dr. Parris, and Dr. Mike who have been going above and beyond to help me keep my current ailments from making my posture and back issues worse. A huge "thank you," to them for all that they do. Also not having to make an appointment and the office being open until 7pm has made it easier for me to get the medical help I need with an ever changing work schedule. The Joint has probably been one of the best medical and financial decisions I have ever made and has been helpful in keeping some of my life normal. Thank you.

For starters who takes a lunch break and shuts down the whole shop. Some of us work and can only make it clear across town at certain times. The concept is great if it’s conveniently located which it’s not for me. So I have to come while a certain person is here cause he is the only one that can do what needs to be done. The others have to use tools to somewhat do the job if you can’t do what needs to be done find something else to do. So my pain has to only happen on days when one certain person is working. Nothing against the staff they are all very nice but nice doesn’t leave me pain free.

Went in and got a great adjustment but when I tried to cancel my wellness plan, they gave me this bogus excuse about having to let them know 48 hours in advance! When I had to cancel this previously they were able to do it the day before but now they're changing it up! Such a shame, and so shady! Especially when we are living in a pandemic!

I participate in tough mudders and running events and with these nagging injuries limit my training which has to be conducted in moderation. I injured my tail bone in June of 2016. It took 10 months for the pain to away but even after that my back was stiff and my range of motion was limited. Jan of 2018 my sister in law suggested The Joint so I came in. After my first visit my first visit my range of motion improved greatly. I signed up for the 4x a month and look forward to each visit. My pain is gone and I have full motion. I love being able to get in and out quick as well.

Injured lower back from a lot of strength and running movements. Injury almost took me out of work as a first responder. On 3/1/2017 I was in a rollover accident on I-10 as a backseat passenger hit by a semi-truck. I suffered a bad neck and back injury. Dr. Steve Lynch was my chiropractor before he joined The Joint and I would see no other - he is the best and I compare everyone I see now (due to city location it's far) to him - I seek his standard of care for wellness for body aches due to my job (hygienist). Dr. Michelle Ruppelt is hands-down the best chiropractor The Joint has employed the receptionist Melissa is very kind and makes, the days with long waits pleasent. I am one of those people that has gone my entire life avoiding Chiropractic Care. At the age of 18 I hurt my back on the job, and suffer from bulged discs, degenerative disc, and spinal stenosis, along with arthritis. The Joint chiropractic care as a company is good and the prices are great, but the doctors are what make this company worth going to over any other chiropractor you could choose, or not choose due to fear of Chiropractic Care like myself! Dr. Michelle helps you not be afraid if you need lighter handed care she has you covered, if you got a tough hardened back like a friend of mine that referred me to The Joint she is strong enough to work on the most difficult backs. I am so impressed with the care that I get once a week depending on how my needs are that I would recommend The Joint and specifically Dr. Michelle Rappelt so that new customers and new patients understand that she is the real deal! Melissa is amazing! So informative, gentle and nice. I was hesitant to come to this location due to being rated 3.5 stars, but I am so glad I did. Melissa gave me my life back. I have been 3 times now and each time I have been greeted with a friendly smile from the front desk. The sessions are short and sweet, but they still personalize the visit and ensure that your needs are met. They are short staffed at the moment, so wait times are a little long, but they are very good at letting you know how long the wait will be, so you can decide to stay or come back later. I have no complaints!
