Meet The Doctors
Dr. Madison grew up in Middle Tennessee and is dedicated to providing chiropractic care to the community that she loves. She began her educational journey at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. During her time there, she began experiencing severe migraines. After months of trying multiple treatments and medications, she sought out care from a local chiropractor. The healing she experienced was beyond her expectation and ultimately led her to change paths and become a chiropractor herself. She transferred to Life University in Marietta, Georgia where she completed a Bachelor of Science Degree alongside her Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
Her experiences give her a unique perspective as both a patient seeking quality care and now as a chiropractor delivering this care to others.
Dr. Madison has a passion for educating on the power of routine chiropractic care and is excited to help her patients reach their health goals.
During her free time, Dr. Madison enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and being a dog mom to her beloved wiener dog, Tucker!
Dr. Marissa Parus, D.C., grew up in the southwest Chicago suburbs. Upon graduating high school, she attended Middle Tennessee State University before transferring to Life University in Marietta, Georgia to fulfill her passion of becoming a chiropractor. While attending Life University, she also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology along with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
Dr. Marissa discovered her love for chiropractic when she was twelve years old after experiencing significant lower back pain due to sustained cheerleading injuries. After enduring numerous doctors, tests, and rounds of physical therapy to no avail, visiting her local chiropractor was her last hope. Dr. Marissa said, “within a few visits I was already in much less pain and was able to keep doing what I loved.”
Dr. Marissa’s story doesn’t stop there though! After developing her own chiropractic journey, she was able to work as a chiropractor’s assistant and help patients get back their health. Dr. Marissa said, “Chiropractic has truly changed the trajectory of my life, and I knew it was something I wanted to do for the rest of my life.”
In her free time, you’ll find Dr. Marissa relaxing by the pool, lost in a good book, or beginning a new adventure!
Dr. Brian Edens grew up in Philadelphia and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA. While attending Ursinus, Dr, Brian captained the wrestling team and football team. He still holds the single-season tackle record at Ursinus with 135.
After college, Dr. Brian headed south to Marietta, GA and attended Life University where he obtained his Doctorate of Chiropractic. Soon after, Dr. Brian set out to the west coast of Florida where he co-owned and co-operated Advanced Chiropractic & Physiotherapy from 2000-2018.
After several years of prayer, Dr. Brian and his wife Arike, along with their 4 children, followed the steps God had ordered which ultimately led them to Hendersonville TN. In January of 2025, Dr. Brian joined the team with The Joint Chiropractic!
