Dr. Ryan Lounsberry completed his chiropractic education from Life University in 1997 after working as a registered nurse for eight years. After his medical experience and being a chiropractic patient himself, he was driven to help people and change lives through chiropractic care. He prides himself in family care and his ability to help patients of all ages, pediatrics to geriatrics. During his 22 years of practice, he has had the opportunity to adjust thousands of patients, including college football athletes who later went into the NFL. Dr. Lounsberry has primarily practiced in Tennessee, but he also spent close to six years living in Peru, where he had the privilege to learn the culture and the language and offer chiropractic care to the residents of Lima, Peru.
In his spare time, he likes backpacking, fishing, and all sports.
Dr. Taylor Lee Sparks, D.C.

Dr. Taylor has joined our team in the Greater Chattanooga Locations. She graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2020 and began her career in Savannah, Georgia. Her previous experience with the Joint Chiropractic in Savannah makes Dr. Taylor one of our expert Doctors of Chiropractic and we are excited to welcome her aboard.
Her passion to help patients feel better fast after injury started when she began her studies as an Athletic Trainer and PrN. She is RockTape and RockBlade Certified. Dr. Taylor stated, “I wanted to be in a clinic that was accessible to all people, affordable, and completely centered around patient care. I believe chiropractic care should be easily accessible to everyone who needs it, and The Joint makes that a lot easier.”
Dr. Taylor is new to the Tennessee area. She is originally from Corning, NY. In her free time, she enjoys time in the kitchen cooking and baking. She also spends as much time as possible in the mountains and for down time, she likes to read thriller novels and mysteries.
“I wanted to work in the healthcare industry where I could help people every day without relying on the use of medication. Seeing individuals struggle everyday with pain and knowing I can help change their lives is truly what got me into this profession.” Dr. Taylor explained. Her passion for her patients really comes from the heart.
Dr. Dakota Neetz, D.C.

Dr. Dakota Neetz, D.C., was born and raised in Michigan, and later moved to Chesterfield, Missouri, where he attended Logan University to obtain his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Through his professional journey, Dr. Dakota has learned to serve all types of people from babies to grandparents and a range of cases, including migraine relief, sciatica pain, neck pain, and lower back pain through the use of manual manipulation. He has been The Joint’s local chiropractor in Hixson, TN since January 2025 and is honored to serve the Hixson, Tennessee community. As a healthcare provider, I understand the importance of having continuity of care and the only complaint I have is rotating your providers. We live in-between the Hixson and Downtown locations and this has made Dr. Sparks very accessible, until recently. We have been disappointed to see her rotated out to the Ft. Oglethorpe location. With chronic musculoskeletal issues, it is important for me, and other patients, to maintain care with a provider who knows what works for each individual patient. I truly hope to soon see Dr. Sparks at her normal locations on Tuesdays, as do many other patients.

By Friday, I was 80% better and walking normally. I got another adjustment to help solidify the improvement. On Saturday, I hiked 8 miles in the Big Frog Wilderness/Snowbird Mountains, with a 2,400 ft vertical climb and a 20 lb pack. Thank you!

My fusion doesn't allow my lower back and hips to move normally and after a lot of walking or exercising my hips will shift out of alignment causing pain in one or both sides. 5 5 1I came in on a Saturday because I turned my neck wrong and had a shooting pain with any movement I made. I’m in my 20s and had only ever seen a chiropractor when I was pregnant a few years ago. I decided to come in because they were the only office open on a weekend, but it turned into a blessing! I did experience a wait the first time but was fine with that( as it was a weekend and I was new), Dr. Ryan greeted me in the lobby and explained everything to me before he did anything. He answered all of my questions. I’m an orthodontic assistant which is hard on your back and body so I chose the 4 visits a month membership! They also gave me 2 complimentary visits to get my neck pain worked out before my 4 visits for the month officially started. I thought that was so sweet! I was given an ice pack to use at home after my adjustments. The price really is unbeatable and I even found out my mom has the same membership that I do! I went to the Gunbarrel office on a Sunday and then back to the Hixson office during the week. My neck feels much better now! The front office staff are also very sweet and knowledgeable. I look forward to my visits every time now! Thank you!

I am a long distance runner and would have issues with my hips, legs, etc... after a long run or major race. Since I try to go to The Joint on a weekly basis, they are aware of any races that I have coming up and can help keep my hips in line before the race and take care of my needs after the race too. There were a few weeks that I wasn't able to come by the office and I received a phone call from the office reminding me to come by and that they are open! I loved that extra special touch! 5 5 1I am so happy with the care I have got at The Joint. Finally affordable chiropractic care. This is straight up Chiropractic no bells no whistles no weirdness. I have had some less than favorable experiences with Chiropractic in my life and one of them is the rough head cracking etc. I got to the point where I couldn’t even go anymore. I went into the joint I saw a sign out front that said 20 something dollars for the first visit. I felt led to go in and I’m so glad I listened. The girl at the front was so very helpful and caring. Really all the staff at this facility I’ve seen so far are wonderful. I saw Dr. Ryan Lounsberry, D.C. on my first visit. He is amazing. He is very gentle and listened to me when I explained my past experience. I had 70% pain reduction from the first visit. I have been having a severe shoulder problem with a catch in the middle of my back. The pain did come back somewhat after that first time but never as bad as it was. After four visits and the fact that I’m doing low-carb lifestyle I am 90% out of pain. Thank you very much and I completely recommend these wonderful people and the great concept of this business.

It is a place that works like a gym membership, in that you have a monthly package (there are several different packages) and with each package you have 4 visits. After your 4 visits, you only pay $10 more each visit, which is very affordable for me and that helps a lot. I go to the Hixson, TN location and the staff and Dr. Ryan are fabulous. They are very friendly and very professional. I highly recommend going to a chiropractor. If you have had a lot of neck pain, middle and lower back pain, joint stiffness, like I have been in for years, the chiropractor is the answer. I just highly recommend them because I know a lot of people suffer from neck and back pain but are afraid to go see a chiropractor, but I am here to tell you not to be scared but to go and feel better.
