It had been about 2 years since I’d visited a chiropractor due to moving out of state. I previously worked for a very well-respected chiropractor in Naples, FL and continued seeing him for my personal treatment after moving on to work elsewhere. So I was expecting a lot from whomever I would consider having treat me.
Upon visiting the office, I felt welcomed by the front desk and felt the process of signing in and completing the paperwork by phone went smoothly. The only improvement that could be made there would be for people that have eyesight issues and are unable to see such tiny print, as was the case for the gentleman sitting next to me who ended up leaving the office.
The initial visit itself was very thorough as Dr. Rivera took time to review my notes, complaints, and previous chiropractic care. He took time to discuss same with me and then listened as I explained what had worked for me in the past as well as what had not.
Dr. Rivera then got to work, working gently as it had been so much time since I’d last been seen, and my neck and back as well as my hips and ankle joints were very tight.
As the first visit went on, I genuinely felt relief and began to relax more and more. By the end of the visit I felt such release from the tightness and soreness all along my left side (where my pain was concentrated and had always been focused).
Dr. Rivera gave me some simple neck stretches to do until my next visit and explained that we’d get more into the treatment plan as I progressively improved.
For me, who recently unexpectedly lost her job, and is on a bit of a budget, paying $79/mo. Is more than well worth it for the benefit of being able to walk in and get treated on my time schedule at this location - near my home.
With the understanding that if my new job takes me out of the area, or out of the state entirely, The Joint Chiropractic is located across the United States!!

True professionals, every doctor at The Joint in Kennesaw has been amazing, made me feel comfortable and important, and quickly addressed my concerns. I could barely turn my neck when I arrived and within 30 minutes, had nearly full range of motion. Dr. Tariq prescribed a very reasonable treatment plan, including home exercises and stretches, and I expect a full recovery from this issue. After two visits, I'm 99% better. I'm incredibly impressed by this location and the amazing doctors there.

Dr. Melanie at the Kennesaw/Busby Parkway location is a miracle worker! She’s very intuitive, she listens, and she got right down to business. After just one adjustment, I have more range of motion in my neck and I swear I can even breathe better. She even emailed me some awesome post treatment exercises. The young lady who greeted me at the front desk had the sweetest disposition - very welcoming. The clinic itself is functional, clean, and comfortable.
About the Joint in general: There’s hardly ever a wait (I’ve visited the Sandy Plains clinic as well; also a great experience!). My first consultation took less than 30 minutes, but I feel like Dr. Jaelyn took the time to educate me and asked all the right questions to start me off on an affective treatment plan. The adjustments themselves take maybe five minutes, but again, this can vary depending on your individual need. It’s so affordable, and it’s nice that you don’t have to bother with going through your insurance - dealing with deductibles and copays. The special they have going on right now can’t be beat!
I’m extremely pleased with the care I received here.

I absolutely loved my experience, and will be back, as I purchased one of the packages before I headed out after my first visit.
Not only was the staff welcoming and sweet, but you can tell they care, all my needs were met.
To me, the small things matter, and another thing I really appreciated was them giving me a tour, right off the bat!
I didn’t have to fill anything out beforehand, and it was just really nice..

I love this location. I live in Canton and travel the extra distance to go to kennesaw. I’ve had really good interactions at other locations but I am a very hard person to adjust and every time I come to this location no matter who adjusts me I am always able to be adjusted fully. I have been coming to the Kennesaw location for just under four years. I have always had good experiences. Last summer, someone new worked on me. That chiropractor adjusted with such force that it caused injury to my hip and I vocalized how painful his adjustment was as soon as it happened. Every adjustment thereafter only exacerbated the injury. I spoke with Dr. Josh about it, came up with a treatment plan, and made a point of avoiding seeing that particular doctor again. Typically, I would try to only see doctor Josh but sometimes I would have to see someone else. Every doctor I went to listened to my concerns and respected my choices. Unfortunately, today I walked in, expecting to see a Dr. Kyle. I didn't know until I got into the back that he was not there. The doctor that was there was the one that hurt my hip last year. I hoped for the best and explained that I only wanted the activator and nothing more. Instead of listening, he went to adjust my hips. I reiterated what I had already expressed. Instead of listening, he began to debate my choice, telling me that maybe I should get x-rayed and a whole bunch of other stuff. I told him a particular doctor hurt me last year and this is my chosen method. He continued to debate my concerns. It took a lot out of me to NOT tell him that he was the doctor who injured me last year.
Overall I give high marks to the office but I check the Facebook page before driving to the office. It would be really nice if daily staff changes were posted there to avoid me having to call before every appointment to see who is working.

I had severe back pain that had been bothering me for a few weeks. I saw that one of the Joint stores was very close to my office, so I went. I was seen by Dr. Bradly Knick and in less than 10 minutes he made me feel much better. He was very friendly, kind and cordial, he made me feel like his lifelong friend. Dr Tim and Dr Anderson are phenomenal chiropractors! They take the time to really figure out where my pain points are and don't let me walk out without knowing that they addressed everything, even the things I don't think are so important. I'm currently 38 weeks pregnant and that really means a lot to me! Dr Anderson is definitely the best, he is so kind and patient and when I had a cramp after getting off the bench he told me to lie back down and kept working the area until it loosened up. He will not let you leave in pain! Dr Joshua on the other hand is very rough and I don't plan on seeing him again. The last time he adjusted me I was falling off the table as he adjusted my hips and he didn't seem to care at all! He doesn't give any warning when he's about to apply pressure so I never feel like I'm breathing properly when he decides to push. If you're just in a rush to get adjusted and don't mind getting thrown around some then he's a fine Dr, but I'd recommend coming back when Dr Tim or Dr Anderson is available.

The 5 stars are for Chris and Tim. I have been going to The Joint for 2 years in multiple states. I have never witnessed such an arrogant chiropractor like Joshua. His methods haven't been catered to assist the patient. I witnessed him do the same procedure rapidly on myself and the patient before me when we had completely different issues. I addressed that the pain was still present in my back as nothing seemed to have been addressed and he said "Well, it shouldn't be cause I did my stuff". I was in so much pain- he didn't offer to help me sit up either. He was in complete denial that he is just so great that his procedure must've worked and that I was crazy for still hurting.
Every other chiropractor I have ever had won't even consider letting you off the table until they have seriously adjusted the pain away in the current problematic locations and they always immediately assist you off the table when you're done and ask you to focus on how you feel. If you're still in pain- they continue the visit right there until you leave comfortable. If Joshua is there and there are no other options, you are better off not wasting a visit with him. Chris and Tim are phenomenal, genuine, considerate, caring and even give you tips on what you can do to better yourself between visits. They have genuine empathy and truly listen making them some of the best I've seen around the country.

Worst & least effective adjustment I've ever had in 30+ yrs. Dr. Joshua was activator crazy. He ran the activator up & down my spine hitting every vert 3x on each side. The neck adjustment wasn't any better. He started at C2 and pulled activator at least 50x as he drew a U shape on my neck. My shoulder adjustment was another 100+ random punches. Felt like a 10yr old kid was adjusting me with no clue what to do.
Overall should I be in extreme pain & need a chiro on a Sunday, this will not be who I go see!

All of the doctors that work at The Joint are very good.. They read the notes from previous adjustments. They ask you what is your main physical problem. They are as gentle or forceful with the adjustments as you require. But today I was treated by a new doctor, Dr. Jared Bartone. Jared was very thorough and his treatment was perfect, especially after he learned that I play tennis. He knew exactly what to look for and how to relieve the pain. I think that The Joint is a great place to go for quick chiropractic help.

BE AWARE!!! This is located close to kennesaw college so I’m sure a lot of college students go to them. My step daughter at 19 went there and was misled on their monthly contracts. At 19 she doesn’t have 70 bucks to just throw away. When she tried to cancel her contract they would not refund her second month and she told them in plenty of time. I guess they are desperate for money. I would not recommend going here at all. Terrible
Customer service and toooo quick with adjustments no chair side…..
There are plenty of chiropractors out there that will treat you better and for less money and with better customer service..

Josh is great. I get a solid adjustment every time. He listens well and tries to get the adjustment to fit exactly what I'm feeling I need.
I left a previous review on here and it was NOT for Josh. I request that it be removed.
When I'm not seeing Alex or Carl in Vinings, I go to Josh here in Kennesaw.
He's great. I've been with the joint for years.

Over the past month or so, Dr. Jones has significantly improved my quality of life. I had a lot of migraines, and the adjustments he performed took them away. I even fell and had a migraine, and the adjustment took it away.

This team of chiropractors is wonderful! I have seen 4 so far for my hips and back pain. Dr. Habib, Dr. Joshua, Dr. Mercedes and Dr. Tim Jones are all just awesome. I have been receiving Chiropractic care for 20 years. All has been private chiropractors. All have been chiropractors from Life College. I feel they have the best training. My problems have been very complex. Before these problems I was an R.N. for 42 years in supervision, pediatrics, oncology and psychiatry. I have a full-time private chiropractor but on holidays, weekends and vacations I came to The Joint. Most of the chiropractors at The Joint have been very good including Dr. Jared. They have been pleasant. They listen to the entire problem. They form a plan based on the history. They tell me what will be done and listen for any additional information.When another DC is in charge, they do not try to change the plan. With Dr. Jared especially, I especially appreciate the way he actively listens and pays attention to every single detail and remembers these on the next appointment. His adjustments fit my condition . I have fibromyalgia and require a light use of the activator on my degenerative discs Also, a light drop for my hips. I really appreciate him and his work. I would recommend him to my friends and family. If it were not for Dr. Jared, I would have much pain on weekends and holidays. I am truly grateful for his work.
