Meet The Doctors
Dr. Wesley Cavanaugh became part of The Joint Chiropractic’s family of local chiropractors in 2016 and joined the Lorain location when it opened in 2022. A graduate of California State University San Bernardino, Dr. Cavanaugh earned bachelor’s degrees in accounting and computer science before graduating summa cum laude in 2009 with his doctorate of chiropractic from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon.
“The best thing about being in the chiropractic field is seeing the looks on the faces of my patients after a great treatment,” Dr. Cavanaugh says. “It’s gratifying knowing I’m doing something meaningful to help my fellow man.”
A product of Southern California, Dr. Cavanaugh worked in Orange, California and Lafayette, Colorado, before landing in Lorain.
He and his wife Tiffiny, who have known each other since they were 8 years old, enjoy doing various activities together, including reading, playing tennis, skiing, and hiking: “We love to explore the natural beauty of northeast Ohio.”
Dr. Cavanaugh says his firsthand knowledge of the power of chiropractic led him into the field.
“I had severe neck pain and headaches as a child,” he says. “I went to the chiropractor and was amazed at how much better I felt after just one adjustment. I realized it was my calling to become a chiropractor and help people with migraines, neck pain, midback pain, low back pain, sciatica, and more.”
He loves working at the Lorain location “because of the incredibly friendly population of the Cleveland area.”
