Dr. Mike McGurn joined The Joint Chiropractic family of local healthcare providers when he arrived at the Tucson clinic locations in December of 2019. He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1980 and is well-suited to meet the needs of local Tucson, AZ patients.
Prior to attending chiropractic college, Dr. McGurn went to Palmer Junior College as a Pre-Med student. He has always had a passion for helping others. He also loves that chiropractic care serves as a non-invasive technique to pain relief without the use of drugs.
Over the course of his professional career, Dr. McGurn has learned to serve a range of patients, from grandparents to infants and athletes, all with a range of cases including arthritis, sciatica, low back pain, migraines and more.
When Dr. McGurn is not working at The Joint Chiropractic he enjoys staying active and reading.
Dr. Angela was born and raised on the Island of Guam. Her passion for wellness initially began while attending the University of Guam, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Health Science with a concentration in Pre-physical therapy. She then moved to Oregon to obtain her Doctorate in Chiropractic from the University of Western States and graduated in 2019. During her time in the Pacific Northwest, she gained experience working closely with the local population - providing chiropractic care at nonprofit organizations in downtown Portland and community health fairs in the surrounding neighborhoods. She is well versed in treating many conditions including but not limited to back pain, neck pain, jaw pain/dysfunction, shoulder pain, headaches, and sciatica. She is also certified in physical medicine modalities and therapeutic procedures.
As a lifelong learner Dr. Angela decided to go back to school to receive a Masters in Acupuncture - further expanding her holistic outlook on health and wellness.
Now residing in sunny Tucson, Dr. Angela looks forward to using her knowledge and experience to provide care to all who seek wellness to improve their quality of life.
When not working at The Joint Chiropractic, Dr. Angela enjoys reading, playing piano, trying new foods, and exploring Tucson with her husband and two dogs.
Dr. Joseph Andris, D.C. was born and raised in Belpre, Ohio and has been seeing a chiropractor of his own since he was 14. His doctor encouraged him to consider chiropractic as a career and Dr. Andris has never looked back. Dr. Andris graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO in 1997 with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He had been in private practice for his first 16 years as a doctor in Ohio and Michigan until moving to his new home state of Arizona and joining The Joint Chiropractic in Tucson.
Dr. Andris believes that in all things we must give thanks, and he is overly thankful for his patients. He loves establishing relationships with each of his patients and providing a tailored adjustment and treatment plan to each individual. Over the years, Dr. Andris has treated a variety of patients varying from families, newborns, grandparents and athletes. Because of the diversity in patients in Tucson he has also mastered treating a range of ailments such as sciatica pain, migraines, neck pain, lower back pain and dozens of other symptoms.
Dr. Andris finds his passion in not only helping others, but educating them. Routine chiropractic care can help each and every one of his patients live happier and healthier lives. One well-adjusted spine at a time, Dr. Andris is making a difference in Northwest Tucson.
When Dr. Andris is not working at The Joint Chiropractic in Northwest Tucson, AZ, he is playing baseball, working on home improvement, woodworking or spending time with his wife Michelle.
Dr. Davis graduated from Sherman College. He is from Cincinnati Oh and has lived in Arizona for over twenty years. He has a passion for exercise and movement. In his spare time he enjoys camping, hiking and exercising at the gym.
Dr. Davis's favorite part of being a chiropractor is serving the community. “It is very fulfilling to use my hands, heart and mind to help people improve their health.” His goal is to educate his patients young and old about the benefits of regular chiropractic care, proper nutrition and how to live healthier lives.
